How do you encourage your favorite players while winning?
The challenge: Gamercraft wanted to diversify its revenue while increasing community engagement. Players often competed alone, and even streamers lacked real interaction with their audience.
My solution: Co-designed with the Discord community, I created "Backings" – a feature allowing spectators to support their favorite players and earn money, turning passive viewing into an interactive experience.
Observed impact: This feature created a significant new revenue stream and transformed community engagement. Backings are now a key pillar of the Gamercraft experience, innovatively connecting viewers and players in a more engaging ecosystem.
