Gojob - Neat
App redesign and design system creation
The challenge: Gojob wanted to expand to the United States but didn't have a dedicated application for their constraints. Data analysis showed that 78% of users accessed via mobile, but the experience was designed desktop-first.
My solution: I created a mobile-first MVP with regular check-ins with the team, rethinking the information architecture and creating a unified design system. This American version was then meant to serve as the foundation for improving the French version.
The observed impact: Recruiters finally told us: "Candidates now complete their profiles!" - a major change from previous complaints. The design system created allows teams to develop faster with perfect consistency between both markets.

Where to start?
Analysis of existing solution
We started with an audit of the current application:
Study of user journeys to identify friction points.
Analysis of navigation data (Hotjar, Google Analytics) to understand user behaviors and spot problematic areas.
Benchmarking and inspiration
To inform our decisions, we conducted a thorough study:
Direct competition: Analysis of strengths and weaknesses of similar applications.
Cross-references: Exploration of applications sharing common functionalities, such as job searching or administrative management.
Rethinking information architecture
A "clear navigation" and intuitive design was at the heart of our objectives.
For this:
We organized a "card sorting workshop" in collaboration with Product Managers and developers, in order to co-build a logical structure.
The insights from this workshop allowed us to prioritize content and define an accessible hierarchy, optimizing the user experience.
Screen design
A mobile-first approach
With a majority of users on smartphones, we adopted a mobile-first design approach from the start.
Functional prioritization: Discussions with the business team and Product Managers to define essential functionalities.
Interface modernization: Redefinition of visual styles to offer a more attractive experience aligned with Gojob's identity.
Continuous documentation: Each decision was integrated into the design system to ensure visual and functional continuity.
Technical collaborations
We worked in pair design with developers, to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions from the design phase.
User validation
Testing was essential to adjust our proposals:
Qualitative interviews: To understand in detail the expectations and uses of temporary workers.
A/B tests: Comparison of different versions of functionalities via Maze.
Weekly feedback: Collection of direct user feedback to adapt prototypes in real time.
Design system implementation
To ensure long-term consistency, we designed a robust design system.
Complete documentation: Each component was detailed to be easily reusable by designers and developers.
Visual unification: All graphic elements (typography, colors, buttons) were centralized for homogeneous application.
Development facilitation: Close collaboration with the technical team ensured smooth and unambiguous implementation.
